BEHIND THE LENS

PROFILE

Christie grew up on the rugged coast of England, where a passion for art and storytelling began at a young age. After earning a Master’s degree in Anthropology, Christie moved to Canada to pursue a life outdoors. Over the past decade, she has lived many lives, including van-dwelling ski bum, apprentice sommelier, and staff writer at Outside Magazine.

In that time, Christie has honed a love of photography and built a career specializing in travel, tourism, and brand storytelling. Her simultaneous pursuits in the backcountry – whether on foot, skis, or gravel bike – have evolved beyond passion and become a defining thread in her work.

Christie is permanently and gratefully settled on unceded Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Líl̓wat territory in British Columbia.
